SBD Logo

As a kid, back in the early 80s, I loved working with KRELL's LOGO on the old Apple ][s. In fact, I attribute it as the thing that really got my started programming. Logo isn't much a programming language, but it does teach something about graphics, geometry, and how to construct a sequence of instructions to make the turtle do something. Recently I searched the web to see if I could fine a Logo for the PC, but my search was fruitless. So, I wrote my own :).

You need a Windows PC with DirectX 5 or newer. I recommend at least 128megs of ram (more for Windows than SBDLogo) and an AGP video card. 1ghtz or faster processor is best, but it should run okay on as low as 400-500mhz procs.

Sorry I haven't had the time to write up any real documentation. When you load it up, you will have the option to get a short screen of "help". It explains the basics.

So, here is the link, enjoy: SBDLogo_v1.0.zip

Note: If you want to change the resolution SBDLogo runs at from the default 1024x768, just edit the SHOS.INI file. Any valid windows resolution will be fine. Lower resolutions will run faster (800x600 or 640x480), so if you have a slower machine, try these.
