Mini Biography:
Though a Coloradan through and through, a student of the world
none the less. I can't remember when I first got into Legos; it's
been too long. I was more into the modeling sets as a kid. Technics
were cool, but they seemed rather academic Until now. With an RCX,
some motors and some sensors, things get exciting. Finally you can
do something with your technics. They are active.
Anyway, the bio. I'm just finishing a BS/MS combined degree at
the University of Colorado in computer science. After graduation
I'm going to be doing independent work with my father on a new programming
language that changes some fundamental aspects of computing - hopefully
for the easier.
Self Lego Skills Analysis:
Strangely, it seems I'm better at the engineering. Well, perhaps
I just like spending more time on the engineering. I do so much
programming on other stuff. I'd say strapping is my specialty. My
bots are built "Ford Tough"!
Self Lego Weakness Analysis:
I'm more interested in building something cool and different then
something that wins. Oh, I'll try to design something that wins,
but in a close call, I'll have a cool robot that dies valiantly
rather than a standard bot that wins.
